7 Days Birding Kenya Safari

On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi, you will be met and welcomed by our professional tour guide/driver, who will transfer you to your Nairobi hotel.

Once checking in is done, the guide will brief you on what will be your best holiday in Kenya.

Overnight in a standard room. Booking is done on Bed & Breakfast.

Enjoy your breakfast then depart for Lake Baringo via Lake Bogoria. On the way enjoy the beautiful serenity of the Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you will have a great view of the beautiful Landscape and hills from a distance.  You shall notice the many beehives up the trees along the way kept by the local people for bee farming.

Arrive at Lake Bogoria National Reserve in time for lunch. Refresh and relax then later in the afternoon proceed for an afternoon game-viewing drive. After the game drive leaves for Lake Baringo arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Lake Bogoria reserve is geothermal active hence the hot springs and geysers along its shore. It is a haven for the lesser flamingo birds giving the better part of the lake look pinky. It is a haven for many more bird species animals.

Lake Baringo is a freshwater lake that is famously known for having seven islands in it. Boat riding to visit the island is among the activities done (at an extra cost). It is also home to many species of birds and a great destination for bird lovers. Other animals are habilitated here.

Dinner and Overnight at Lodge/camp.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast, then depart for a boat ride to one of the Islands in Lake Baringo. Return in time for a mid-morning guided bird-watching walk around this Lake. Enjoy your lunch at the Lodge then depart for L. Nakuru arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

The park is famous for the abundant greater flamingos and lesser flamingos (Depending on water levels). It is an ornithological paradise for bird lovers. On the other hand, the park also rehabilitates other wildlife species including lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas etc.

An early morning breakfast, then depart for a game drive to try and see different species of birds in Lake Nakuru National Park and different types of animals found in L. Nakuru National Park.

Return to the lodge and depart for Lake Naivasha with lunch en route arriving in Lake Naivasha around late afternoon. Check in to your Lodge or Hotel and leave for a boat ride in the Lake to see Hippos and the different bird species that are found there.

Dinner and overnight at lodge/hotel.

Enjoy an early morning game drive to Hell’s Gate National Park, the only park where one can cycle, walk, and drive while seeing animals. Return to the lodge for breakfast and depart for Maasai Mara through The Great African Rift Valley. Arriving at Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Depart for a late afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve is one of Kenya’s best-loved reserves.  It is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem. It is home to the Big Five, a wide range of bird species and other animals.

To the south. Each year, Mara is the staging ground for the “Great Migration”, one of the Awe-inspiring natural events of the world. This is viewed between July and September.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast then depart for a full day with a packed picnic lunch box. Proceed for the game viewing drive in search of its popular animals like the well-known Big Five and the vast bird species found in the reserve.

You will enjoy your lunch at the Mara river near the migration corridor where the wildebeest usually use to migrate from Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara in Kenya. (Migration is viewed between the months of July and September). Return to the lodge/camp later. Dinner and overnight at lodge/camp.

Enjoy Breakfast then check out and drive back to Nairobi. On arrival to Nairobi, you will be dropped at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport to connect to your flight back home. If you arrive earlier than scheduled, you will enjoy lunch (at an extra cost) before the tour guide/ driver drops you at the Airport for you to connect to your international flight back home.

Alternatively, a one-way flight from Mara to the Wilson Airport in Nairobi can be arranged if one wishes.
